What is Infrared?
Infrared studios use light energy that penetrates deep into muscle tissue — warming your body from within rather than heating the air. This enables deeper stretching, cellular detoxification, and recovery at more comfortable temperatures than traditional hot yoga.
Benefits
Deep tissue warmth (not just hot air)
Detoxification at the cellular level
Reduced inflammation and chronic pain
Improved circulation
Comfortable temp (~90°F vs. 105°F hot yoga)
What to Expect
Expect a warm but not overwhelming studio (85–95°F). The warmth is gentler than traditional hot yoga. You'll still sweat, but without the oppressive heat. Great intro to heated classes.
